PLEASE POST April 4 2025MAUMEE CITY SCHOOLSNotice of Instructional VacancySchool YearPOSITION AVAILABLE:Art Teacher Fairfield/Maumee Intermediate SchoolJOB STATUS:Full TimeMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Valid drivers licenseAppropriate State of Ohio teaching certificate/license.Demonstrate a sincere desire to aid all students.Good health high moral character and good attendance record.Available NTE or Praxis II scores.SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:To provide effective instruction for the students assigned to him/her.To regularly monitor student progress and to provide intervention (remedial and/or enrichment) as needed.To communicate effectively with parents.To establish a positive rapport with students so as to motivate and encourage their best efforts.To function as a contributing member of the academic team.COMPENSATION:Salary and fringe benefits are based on negotiated agreement.APPLICATION PROCEDURE:Complete the application process by following the Employment links on the Maumee City Schools Website: Maumee.k12.oh.
