Job Description
Salem Academy Charter School (SACS) seeks committed aspiring teachers to work as substitutes on a per diem basis. SACS seeks individuals who are committed to the mission and vision of the school. Individuals are hired based on their relevant experience and demonstration of responsibility and flexibility.Specifically we are looking for staff members with:Belief in the mission and vision of the schoolExperience working with a diverse student bodyExperience teaching or working with young peopleExcitement about integrating academics with service workCommitment to standardsbased teaching and learningRelentless commitment to raising academic achievement of all studentsInterest in working collaboratively to improve instruction for all studentsEagerness to be part of creating an innovative and rigorous middle and high school program*Salem Academy is an equal opportunity employer*
