1 Ivy Brook Blvd #160 Ivyland Pennsylvania 18974 United States of AmericaUnder the direction of the supervisor you will be responsible for the investigation evaluation and settlement (either by denial compromise or payment) ofclaimsarising from physical damages to vehicles property of customers (higher and more complex cases) and third parties (medium to high exposure to bodily injuryclaims.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as being well organized.
This candidate will report to our PennsylvaniaClaimsOffice.
Duties involve but are not limited to:
Gather factsin order to determine liability and coverage
Manage phone calls and emails in a fastpaced environment
Assign and correspond withindependentadjusters as needed
Obtain recordedstatements
Obtain police reports and witness statements as needed
Must have the ability to promptly investigate and bringclaimsto conclusion
Have the ability to prepare formal denialletters regardingcoverage and liability
Reporting and presenting to large loss committeeon cases exceeding $100000
Afterhours and oncall responsibilities
Some travelmay berequired in the field in response to catastrophic losses at UHaul centers and affiliated locations
Experience:
2 years of handling bodily injuryclaims
