Job Description
This position is a high volumeB2B selling customer maintenance and customer retentionopportunity. It requires balancing currentcustomer needsand retention along with gaining new customer through active prospecting and networking. This is not a telemarketing position and we do not believe that solutions are a one size fits all. Business and relationships are built by facetoface contact. There are daily requirements for prospecting customer followup reporting and interacting with operations andcustomer serviceteam.
Job Duties:
- Selling commercial waste removal disposal andrecyclingservices
- Preparing bids weekly call reports and calling new and existing customers
- Interacting with customers nonprofit business associations and trade shows
- Gathering contract expiration dates documenting existing customer concerns and working with other departments to satisfy customer requests for service
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 3yearsoutside sales
- B2Bexperiencerequired
- Solidwaste industryexperience preferred
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Punctual
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Computer literate
- Goal oriented
- Reliable transportation
