Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Clinician(BHC)is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis Inpatient and Transition Point programs. The Behavioral Health Clinician coordinates with thePatient CareTechnicians PCT Registered Nurses (RN) and Behavioral Health Medical Providers (BHMP) to ensure a safe environment and that quality care is provided to all presenting for services. The Behavioral Health Clinician completes the behavioral health assessment and service plan for all individuals admitted to their assigned program. The BHCdocuments provided services and coordinates discharges from CBI programs. TheBHCcoordinates care with the family or other significant others.

Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelors Degreein a field relatedtoBehavioral Health.Masters Degreeis preferred but not required. Preference giventoMastersDegreein field related to behavioral health and/or has been licensed at the associate level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist Social worker Counselor Marriage and family therapistorSubstanceAbuseCounselor.
• 13years of fulltime Health Care related work experience where his or her priorexperience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medicalcrisis situationsispreferredbut not required.
