Overview:To plan organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a secondary learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their individual potential for personal and professional success.The following is a brief sample of duties that are associated with this position; it is not allinclusive:To work cooperatively with and under the direction of the Cluster Chairperson/Director in the development of and implementation of individualized instruction.Plan lessons in the subject matter assignedTeach students in full class settings or in small groupsDifferentiate lessons to different student learning stylesDevelop implement and grade individualized testing and student assessmentPrepare students for standardized tests as required Develop and enforce classroom rules and administrative policiesCreate an environment that is positive and conducive for student learning.Participate in the development of individualized curriculum or modify existing curriculum as program changes in alignment with the Massachusetts Curriculum FrameworksCommunicate with parents about students progressWork collegially with peers administrators and other school staffQualifications:Licensure as a Vocational Technical HVACR Instructor by the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or possess the following to be eligible for licensure: MA current Refrigeration Technician license; EPA 608 Certification at universal level; 5 years of recent employment experience directly related to HVACR out of the last 7 years. and high school diploma or equivalent.Job Requirements Degree Preferred High School/Trade SchoolExperience Preferred Not applicable (Experience Preferred will not appear on job posting)Work Eligibility Citizenship residency or work visa required
