Coveleigh Club is seeking a reliable and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing highquality dishes in a fastpaced environment while maintaining consistency and adhering to food safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Set up and stock workstations with all necessary supplies.
Ensure food is prepared and presented on time maintaining quality and portion control.
Follow sanitation and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Assist in daily prep work and food inventory management.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with team members and guests.
Monitor food storage and waste management to minimize spoilage.
Adapt to special dietary requests and ensure consistency across all dishes.
Assist with banquet and special event preparations when necessary.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a line cook or similar role preferred.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and equipment.
Ability to work in a fastpaced highvolume kitchen.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
ServSafe or other food safety certification is a plus.
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in hot and highpaced environments.
