Business Unit Description:

Partnerships with key surgeon consultants help provide advanced and proprietary patented solutions including EMPOWR 3D Knee the only dualpivot knee system on the market and AltiVate Reverse Shoulder a marketleading system based on the design principles of the RSP Shoulder which has demonstrated excellent clinical outcomes at 10 years.
Enovis Surgical offers surgeons and their patients a full range of primary and revision implants for hip knee shoulder and elbow reconstructive joint surgeries in addition to the tools and digital health technology needed in todays changing healthcare environment.
Job Title/High Level Position Summary:
As a Belt & Polish Machine Operator at ENOVIS Surgical you will perform various activities to manufacture orthopedic products. These activities include but are not limited to machine operation and precision assembly skills to produce tight tolerance components in a medical device manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilizes various hand tools measuring devices and small machinery for belting polishing blasting measuring masking cleaning and inspecting product.
Works from written work instructions blueprints specifications and engineering drawings.
Application of abrasive finish to machined and forged components.
Application of masking tapes and fixturing to forgings and machined components.
Checks and inspects work with precision instruments.
Actively participates in continuous improvement efforts.
Promptly and accurately completes all required recordkeeping.
Keeps surrounding area clean safe and organized.
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent
1 years experience in a machine shop
Mechanically inclined
Desired Characteristics:
Lean manufacturing experience
Experience in medical device manufacturing or an ISO manufacturing environment
Previously worked in a manufacturing environment
Willingness to learn
Physical Requirements:
Sit/stand for long periods of time
Lift/carry/pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to carry grip and maneuver small items with hands/fingers for long periods of time
