Position is located in Knoxville TN

The University of Tennessees Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology invites applications for a 9month tenuretrack SpeechLanguage Pathology faculty position (at the rank of assistant/associate professor). Responsibilities include teaching supervising and/or mentoring students conducting research in an area of interest and service.



Responsibilities

The Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology is physically located on the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville and is part of the College of Health Professions at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • An earned Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. in SpeechLanguage Pathology Communication Science or a related field.
  • Strong record of scholarship commensurate with academic level.
  • Commitment to being an effective teacher and mentor.
  • Desire to work in a dynamic and collegial academic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience in courses related to child language disorders or speechsound disorders.
  • A strong record of peerreviewed publications related to child language disorders or speechsound disorders
  • Experience seeking extramural funding to support a research program
