Watershed is looking for a Linux Administrator with demonstrated experience performing Linux maintenance and administrative tasks on a complex enterprisescale network. Work will be onsite in Pensacola Florida and will require periodic travel
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess active DoD Secret clearance or higher
Most possess current IAT IIcompliant security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
Must have or be able to get within 6 months of hire an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
Must have 5 years or more experience supporting Linux servers in an enterprise environment with recent experience in the past 3 years
Work will occur at government facilities in Pensacola FL and at Navy facilities in the Norfolk area. Travel will be required to CONUS and OCONUS locations
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to diagnose and repair Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 and newer operating systems
Able to perform daytoday monitoring and maintenance for Linux Systems including authoritative and recursive DNS firewalls and databases
Ability to review and update STIG requirements and checklists and remediate/document findings as needed
Responsible to diagnose and repair remote Linux systems running in a VMWare environment
Troubleshoot and maintain numerous applications running on Linux systems including DNS NTP and Postfix
PAY RANGE
Final salary is influenced by factors such as location contract labor categories experience skills education and certifications. Watershed offers competitive compensation medical and dental benefits educational reimbursement 401K plan with matching 15 days of PTO to start and 11 paid holidays per year. The proposed salary range for this position is: $80K $112K USD
