Responsibilities:
As a Body ShopTechnician you will be responsible for performing automotive repairs and service as assigned in accordance with manufacturer and insurance standards.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders
- Examine damaged vehicles to estimate repair procedures
- Complete work in accordance with applicable safety requirements
- Conduct parts inventory for collision repairs to ensure accuracy
- Monitor the progress of vehicle repairs to determine the schedule for final assembly
- Complete proper documentation and record keeping on repair orders
- Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance
- Maintain a good work attitude and cooperate with managers and fellow employees in positive spirit of teamwork
Qualifications:
- 3 years of auto body collision repair experience required.
- High School diploma/GED required collision tech graduate preferred.
- ICAR certification or ASE training preferred
- Experience using frame and measuring equipment
- History of working independently and in a team environment
- Highly organized able to handle multiple concurrent assignments
- Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
