Job Description
Hire Resolve is partnering with a reputable Engineering Consulting firm that is looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Cape Town!
Key requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering degree (B.Eng/BSc)
- 12 years minimum experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages. (Excel/Word/MS Project)
Key responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations to support design work
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and work with vendors and contractors
- Perform general mechanical design work
- Perform pressure Vessel code calculations and do designs in collaboration with a client
- Liaise with clients in a professional manner
- Compilation of documentation for tenders and technical submissions
- Handling equipment procurement assembly configuration installation and commissioning activities associated with water treatment projects
- Performance testing and reporting
