Job Description
Description:
Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the Districts curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required.
Contract:10 months
Salary: State Base
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree from an accredited university; valid Texas teaching certificate in History or Social Studies Composite; meet Texas Highly Qualified requirements; ability to instruct students and manage their behavior; strong organizational communication andinterpersonal skills. A valid Texas CDL license is preferred.
General Expectations:
- Extensive and uptodate knowledge of content area
- Ability to follow the High School TEKS
- Proven ability to gather and utilize both formative and summative assessments to createindividualized learning plans to ensure students success on State and Local assessments.
- Excellent communication skills
