Boeing is seeking a P8 Mission Systems Engineer to join our P8 Increment 3 Block 2 program in Jacksonville Florida. In this role you will be responsible for the functional check out of mission systems for the P8 aircraft. You will work closely with internal stakeholders customers and technical subject matter experts to ensure superior capability and performance of the aircraft. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of the P8 program and shape the future of maritime surveillance capabilities.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate MidLevel or Senior P8 Mission Systems Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support for the modification troubleshooting and resolution of mission systems issues for the P8 aircraft focusing on the I3B2 modification program
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
• Support troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve mission system test failures during the modification program
• Work closely with customers internal stakeholders and technical contractors to diagnose mission systems issues define technical solutions and communicate progress and updates related to aircraft modifications and support
• Collaborate with the engineering team to provide subject matter expertise and guidance during modification planning and phases

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
• 2 years of experience in mission systems engineering including experience with aircraft modifications system integration evaluation and airworthiness program planning and management
• Experience with P8 (or similar systems) fleet support or aircraft system design
• Experience performing quantitative and qualitative analyses and problem solving and making independent decisions
• Experience in a role that required you to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytic problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active Security Clearance
• Experience with maritime surveillance systems
• Experience working on P8 Increment 3 Block 2 (I3B2 or similar modification programs
• Familiarity with technical aspects of the P8 aircraft and its mission systems
