This position will float between the family medicine sites of Carolina Health Centers Inc. in the following counties in South Carolina: Abbeville Greenwood Laurens McCormick Saluda.
As a key member of our Carolina Health Centers Inc. team the Physician Assistant (PA) will play a vital role in establishing and overseeing a comprehensive communitybased primary care program. The primary objective of this role is to enhance access to highquality primary care services focusing on familycentered care.
The Physician Assistant will be responsible for designing and implementing an integrated delivery model that prioritizes prevention health maintenance health education and evidencebased chronic disease management. By collaborating with a multidisciplinary team the Physician Assistant will contribute to improving health outcomes and promoting wellness within the community.
The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to delivering patientcentered care and building strong relationships with patients and their families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and engaging with diverse patient populations. The Physician Assistant should be wellversed in current best practices in primary care preventive medicine and chronic disease management.

In addition this position requires:
Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Licensure and Certification
Active South Carolina medical license
Certified or eligible for certification in area of specialty
Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated clinical skill
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
Critical thinking problem solving and consensus building skills
Ability to exercise a high level of confidentiality
Ability to coordinate analyzes observe make decisions and meet deadlines in a detailoriented manner
Physical Demands and Work Environment Considerations
While performing the responsibilities of a staff Physician Assistant the employee is required to talk and hear in order to communicate with others
The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard
The employee is occasionally required to stand walk reach with arms and hands and to stoop kneel or crouch
Visual abilities required by this job include close vision with moderate exposure to a computer screen
The noise level in the work environment is moderate
Moderate to regular exposure to blood borne pathogens
Requirement for outoftown and/or overnight travel is minimal
