Job Description:
As an Assembler C you will be responsible for a variety of assembly operations tasksassembling precision electrooptical semiconductor components and soldering under levels of optical magnification. Additionally you will be responsible for following standard practices and procedures to operate leaded equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Complete assigned solder processes as required (ie. Soldering components configuring cabling and configuring wires)
- Support group objectives for ontime delivery
- Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components for customer deliverables
- Verify use of most updated procedures
- Follow industry standard or practice for 6S
- Perform torque training inspection of hardware and mechanical assembly
- Crimping cables with a wide range of tools (ex. Hand crimping tools).
- Assist is guiding peers in completing daily tasks
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 ye3ars of prior related experience.
- 2 years or more experience on computers including the ability to navigate email and Microsoft Office.
- 2 yeras or more experience in reading and following drawings and work instructions.
- 2 years or more experience in effective communication.
- 2 years or more experience with the use of basic hand tools such as screwdrive3rs plyers wire stripperss etc.
- 2 years or more experience in using a microscope for long periods of ime.
- 2 years or more experience in spray coating on PWBs.
- Must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Prolonged standing.
- Must be able to move from lab to lab and inside the lab that you are located in.
