Responsibilities
Functions as a Team Member assisting Lab Supervisor in the daytoday operations of HighComplexity Testing Laboratories and is committed to utilizing the most current technologies available. Performs a wide range of
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
1. Bachelors degree in a chemical physical or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution
2. Must have Georgia recognized certification in Medical Technology or being eligible for such certification.
3. Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience in hematology blood banking immunology or related disciplines.
4. Basic computer skills: knowledge of MS Word Excel understanding of laboratory information systems.
5. Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Able to adjust to the flexible schedule varied hours or work oncall.
7. Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position: all applicants must submit to and pass a ColorAcuity screening Test
PREFERRED:
1. Experience in clinical flow cytometry.
2. Experience with operations of BD flow cytometers.
3. Knowledge of basic statistical analysis and software for flow cytometry.
4. Ability to prioritize required duties and responsibilities.
5. Ability to define problems collects data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
6. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral and diagram or schedule form.
