Overview

The IT Project Manager 2 is responsible for leading the planning and of simultaneous projects of moderate to high complexity for the Information Technology Division within the Department of County Assets (DCA) at Multnomah County. Youll spearhead a range of critical IT projects from deploying enterprise software and developing custom applications to upgrading infrastructure and integrating complex data systems while guiding multidisciplinary teams and contributing to strategic technology direction.

You will lead transformative projects that modernize county services directly enhancing resident experiences and driving operational efficiency. Your work will uphold our commitment to public service and accountability.

This position is designated as routine telework meaning you will be working remotely (from home); a hybrid schedule also is available. Serving the Public Even During Disasters

Everyday Multnomah County staff work together to serve as a safety net for our communities. During a disaster this safety net becomes even more critical. All County employees have a role in serving the public during inclement weather natural disaster or other types of community emergency response. During these emergency responses while typically there begins with a call for volunteers county employees may ultimately be reassigned from their current position to a role in the emergency response in order to support the critical needs presented by our communities.
