Job Summary
Garo part of Ingersoll Rand group is theworld leader in liquid ring compressor technology and provides highly customized and engineered compressor packages and solutions for the most demanding applications in the Oil & Gas Chemicaland Petrochemical industries. We are looking for aProject Engineerin our Vignate (MI) site with the following main responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Production of the engineering deliverables under his/her responsibility.
- Preparation of technical requisition bid technical evaluation and vendor followup of the items under his/her responsibility.
- Review and implementation of clients comments to get approval of documentation.
- Cooperation with the project team and other company stakeholders to grant fulfilment of the contractual requirements and resolution of technical issues.
- Participation to project meetings/calls with client including KoM HAZOP 3D model review.
Basic Qualifications
- Masters degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
- Fluent in English.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Approx. 90 of office and smart working 10 travel.
Key Competencies
- Good engineering fundamentals on process and/or mechanical aspects (pressure vessels heat exchangers piping valves)
- Ability to interface with other departments i.e. Procurement Project Management Quality as well as customers and vendors.
- 5 years of experience as Project Engineer in the manufacturing industry (process packages suppliers) Mechanical/Machinery engineer in engineering companies or EPC contractors in the Oil & Gas field.
