About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Backend Developer youll take a leadership role in designing and building scalable secure and highperformance backend services that power our cybersecurity solutions. Youll mentor junior developers drive architectural decisions and work closely with frontend engineers security teams and DevOps to create robust and efficient systems.
What Youll Do
Architect develop and maintain scalable highperformance backend services.
Design and implement RESTful APIs GraphQL endpoints and microservices to support frontend applications.
Optimise system performance security and reliability for largescale cloud applications.
Collaborate with frontend developers security teams and DevOps engineers to drive backend innovation.
Work with databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Implement authentication authorisation and security best practices.
Guide and mentor junior developers fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
Continuously improve development processes and promote backend best practices.
Work with React/Typescript to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
What You Bring
5 years of experience in backend development with exposure to fullstack development.
Expertise in any of the programming languages such as Python/Django Go
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with databases (such as PostgreSQL).
Proficiency in asynchronous programming multithreading and performance optimisation.
Familiarity with message queues (such as Kafka RabbitMQ or SQS).
Strong understanding of security best practices authentication and authorisation mechanisms.
Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda API Gateway S3 DynamoDB and ECS.
Bonus Points for
Experience with containerisation (Docker Kubernetes/ECS) and cloudnative architectures.
Experience with Azure services including Azure Functions Cosmos DB and Service Bus.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation).
Strong experience with Git for version control.
Interest in cybersecurity and security operations.
