Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking an Attending Physician to work at Jacobi Hospital a modern stateoftheart Level 1 Trauma Center located in an attractive and safe residential Bronx neighborhood just 20 minutes north of Manhattan. The Attending Physician will also work at North Central Bronx Hospital. It offers a full continuum of Acute Care Inpatient and Outpatient Services in diverse Medical and Surgical Specialties including Psychiatry. The Department of Psychiatry has 89 adult acute inpatient beds a CPEP a ConsultationLiaison & Service an Adult Ambulatory Practice and a CommunityBased Assertive Community Treatment Program. The department employs evidencedbased best practices in providing the highest quality care to its patients in a patientcentered approach that is respectful of their individuality culture and community.
Responsibilities
Attending Physician. Bronx NY. Examine diagnose and treat patients with mental emotional or behavioral disorders at Jacobi Hospital MondayFriday 9am5pm weekend & weeknights oncall; and at North Central Bronx Hospital as needed. Certification of completion of residency training in Psychiatry reqd. Must qualify for NYS Medical license. Annual Salary $255900.
