RESIDENTIAL INSTRUCTORS WITH CASELOADRESIDENTIAL INSTRUCTOR WITH CASELOADS AND OVERNIGHTSImmediate openings.Riverview School is an independent coeducational boarding/day school providing a caring community and learning environment for adolescents and young adults with complex language learning and cognitive disabilities. We are committed to developing student competence and confidence in academic social and independent living skills. Job SummaryFulltime yearround (school year 5week summer school and orientation days) position providing direct and ongoing supervision instruction and support to all assigned students while coordinating daytoday operations of a dormitory. Youll provide a highlystructured and therapeutic dormitory environment designed to promote growth and independence through assessment direct instruction positive reinforcement and the setting of clear and consistent expectations. Youll also meet the individual and collective needs of assigned students relative to their unique learning styles social/emotional needs and the fostering of independent living skills.This position requires professionalism maturity initiative and a positive proactive studentoriented style. Desired qualifications include a degree in Human Services Education or related field and/or experience working with children and adolescents with learning differences and/or intellectual disabilities within a residential setting. This position offers a 4/day work week schedule generous benefits package and includes tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.
