Job Description
Job Title: MOHS Histotech Part Time
Location:
Myers FL 33912Alternating Thursdays or Fridays each week
Naples FL 34108 once a month on Fridays
Orlando FL 32806: 3 or 4 days a month usually on Friday or Saturday
Lake Worth Beach FL 33449: 12 times per month on Thursday Friday or Saturday
Port St Lucie Blvd Port St. Lucie FL 34953: 12 times per month on Thursday Friday or Saturday
Leesburg FL 34748: 12 times per month on Thursday Friday or Saturday

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Follow the laboratorys established correction action policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory established acceptable levels of performance.
- Prepares tissue section for examination by using complex techniques and procedures such as embedding precise positioning and cutting minute pieces of frozen tissue.
- Cuts and stains frozen section for rapid diagnosis during surgery
- Prepares slides for filing and organizes slide storage
- Monitors and stocks supply
- Maintain and clean equipment
- Adhere to compliance and completion of compliance training
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education High school diploma or equivalent is required
License/Certification ASCP HT/HTL Florida HT/HTL license preferred
Skills Must maintain attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once. Must have basic computer skills. Ability to work as a team player. Ability to remain compliant with HIPPA OSHA and CLIA requirements.
