Description : Test Engineer JD
Job Location : Bellandur Bangalore
Experience Level : 15 Years
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementation of the overall testing strategy.
Add new tests and expand the existing automation test suite
Collect and create test data for functional and nonfunctional testing.
Run functional and nonfunctional tests
Write requirements and create scenarios for performance testing
Provide estimates for test activities
Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases
Identify record document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Stay uptodate with new testing tools and test strategies
Collaborate heavily with fellow test engineers developers designers and analysts to solve problems.
Essential:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
Familiarity with testing of websites or client/server applications
1 to 4 years of strong knowledge in software QA methodologies tools and processes
Handson experience with both white box and black box testing
Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance.
Experience with TFS.
Strong drive to learn and produce beautiful code
ISTQB Foundation Certified (not essential)
Experience in Agile development processes and philosophies.
Ability to work well with people and be both highly motivated and motivating.
