The Role & You
Do you know the building automation industry and have a system integrator (SI) network Are you a driven and selfmotivated individual with a hunter mentality Would you like to be part of a small North American team and grow with us If so we look forward to talking to you.
What youll be doing
Reporting to the SVP Sales you will primarily promote and sell our new IoT Edge SmartServer and Software to Smart Buildings Spaces and Cities verticals in North America. You will understand how to create synergy offering our IoT energy harvesting wireless modules sensors and switches including our well established lighting control solution to be controlled either through the SmartServer or through AP providers using our USB to connect to the sensors.
Meet or exceed AOP/revenue targets
Expand existing AP and SI relationships and identify new opportunities or verticals to grow the business
Find onboard and train new System Integrators and review them on quarterly basis.
Develop customer account plans (short medium and long term) to assist and meet goals
Maintain accurate pipeline in CRM
You will respond to inbound marketing leads and undertake activities necessary to close business. You will understand our customers needs articulate our value proposition create proposals and lead negotiations until contracts are signed and deals are closed.
You will travel and visit customers trade shows & conferences about 2530 of your time.
What were looking for
Professional Qualifications:
MUST HAVE: A wide system integrator network from the BAS or AP industry
8 years of sales experience from BAS or AP providers; e.g. Honeywell Siemens Schneider Cisco HPE/Aruba Ruckus Juniper etc.
Proven track record of achieving high sales growth within competitive business environments
Skilled at prospecting qualifying and closing opportunities from start to market launch.
Experience presenting to Clevel decisionmakers
Business degree with technical flair or vice versa
Proficient at SalesForce or other CRM systems and MS Office.
Preparing monthly forecasts and annual budgets and follow up
Fluent in English; Spanish an advantage
Personal Qualifications:
MUST HAVE: Strong hunter mentality and track record to show it.
Strong analytical skills with ability to think and perform creatively
Selfmotivated proactive and resultsoriented professional style with a strong ability to work independently in a fastpaced work environment
Ability to create connections and engage confidently with a variety of audiences including Clevel decision makers.
