The Investment Associate will primarily support commercial real estate debt and equity originators and equity asset managers and will be involved in all aspects of the mortgage origination and equity acquisition process including underwriting research due diligence negotiations deal structuring and closing. Financial modeling investment analysis and preparation of internal investment memoranda are the core aspects of the job. The candidate will also participate in internal and external client meetings presentations to senior management and property/market tours.

• Understanding of various debt product including senior mortgages mezzanine and subordinated loans and preferred equity.

Qualifications

A businessrelated Bachelors or Masters degree with a strong academic record and with a strong preference for a concentration in Finance or Real Estate. The candidate should have two or more years of real estate investment/underwriting experience preferably working for an institutional investment company commercial lender brokerage company appraisal firm or related commercial real estate firm. Proficiency in Argus and advanced modeling skills in Microsoft Excel is required.

Salary Range:$90000$125000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individuals experience skills qualifications and job location. Additionally employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
