We strive to continuously strengthen practices in areas such as socialemotional learning student support services and individualized academic and college counseling.Lowell Catholic is seeking a compassionate and dedicated fulltime School Counselor (Grades 712.Responsibilities:Provide academic socialemotional and college/career counseling to students in grades 712.Develop and implement individual and group counseling sessions to support student wellbeing.Assist students in creating academic plans and postsecondary goals aligned with their strengths and aspirations.Collaborate with teachers administrators and families to support student success.Monitor student progress and provide intervention strategies as needed.Assist with course selection scheduling and academic advising.Support students in managing challenges related to mental health peer relationships and personal development.Maintain accurate student records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with school policies and ethical standards.Qualifications:Masters Degree in School Counseling Psychology Social Work or a related field.MA certification in School CounselingExperience working with middle and high school students in an academic or counseling setting.Strong knowledge of academic advising college counseling and mental health support strategies.
