Key job responsibilities The System Development Engineer is responsible to support suite of software applications and services to update software on constellation of satellites on Ground and in orbit. Your support will affect our customers directly! High Impact production requests and issues often require coordination between multiple Development Product and Support teams so you get to experience a breadth of impact with various groups. Itll definitely help for you to be detailoriented and a skilled problem solver because youll also be helping us to streamline our processes and automating them where applicable.
Primary responsibilities include executing OTA procedures troubleshooting diagnosing and fixing production software issues developing tools automation and monitoring solutions performing software maintenance and configuration implementing the fix for internally developed code (Python / Go lang) updating tracking and resolving technical challenges and improving operational excellence and readiness of the systems.
Some of the key job functions include providing support of incoming requests tickets including executing the procedures to update software on Satellites during manufacturing on ground labs and in orbit with responsibilities covering multiple products features and services.
Experience in automating deploying and supporting infrastructure Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python Ruby Golang Java C C# Rust Experience with Linux/Unix
Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
