Job Description

Description of Position:

  • The Product Management Senior Advisor is responsible for supporting the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (M3 solution. The ideal candidate will have a broadbased knowledge of Regulated Markets/PBM operations strong product management experience the ability to influence and drive change and skilled in project management. This position will ensure compliance with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Inflation Reduction Act and Medicare Prescription Payment Plan provide subject matter expertise to internal/external stakeholders deliver presentations in account team/client forums and ensure metrics and performance guarantees are met.

Position Details:

  • Manage vendor relationships including contract requirements and SLAs
  • Lead vendor oversight meetings and project management
  • Review and provide strategic direction guidance/regulations to maintain compliance
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert and capability advocate with crossfunctional areas of the organization
  • Oversee the product development life cycle leveraging agile methodology partnering with Business and Technical Product Owners to communicate document and prioritize business needs
  • Analyze trends and develop recommendations to ensure client needs compliance metrics and/or internal support is met
  • Creates project scope project plan tracks project deliverables and communicates project status
  • Ensure internal/external policies and procedures are documented maintained and followed
  • Develop and deliver training to clients and internal resources
  • Understand and use system tools to research and resolve issues and concerns
  • Crosstrain and support other team initiatives where appropriate
  • Exhibit problem solving capabilities in a complex environment and make specific recommendations with rationale to leadership
  • Participate in crossfunctional projects or work teams
  • Ability to appropriately interact with clients/account teams including:
    • Daytoday contact for issue resolution
    • Communicate information about area of expertise to clients
    • Manage account team expectations and ensure appropriate followup

Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 510 years work experience preferably in product management or project management.
  • Familiarity with PBM industry and operations
  • Excellent organizational agility skills with a strong understanding of business processes and operations to facilitate of initiatives
  • Experience in managing capabilities in Regulated Markets preferred
  • Skilled in review and interpretation of complex guidance and regulations
  • Ability to see and apply business needs outside of ones own work area
  • Analytical and detail oriented in all work activities/tasks with a strategic perspective to enable the translation of metrics into trends identification of improvement opportunities and root cause
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting complex information in an understandable way to various audiences
  • Effective communication skills with experience communicating with internal and external individuals in various functional areas and at various levels of management
  • Strong learning skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing environment
  • Ability to see business needs outside of ones own work area
  • Ability to execute tactics under a strategic vision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products specifically Excel
