Robotics/Auto Controls Maintenance Technician
Nights 11:00 PM 7:00 AM $4K sign on bonus
Starting Pay $40/hour based on experience
Shift Premiums for Nights $3/hr.
When you join our dynamic team at Shearers as an Automation Controls Maintenance Technician you will play a pivotal role in the snack food industry! As the dedicated professional you will oversee the maintenance and repair of robotics and automation control systems ensuring peak performance and safety.
Your seat at the best snacks table
This position is responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the controls and automation equipment which includes troubleshooting performing program backups and system upgrades. Direct involvement with crossfunctional team that include safety quality engineering and production. This position will provide technical guidance to other members of the maintenance team and other technical members of Shearers to develop higher controls capabilities across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and Programming for PLCs and automation equipment.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance control capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in PLC and HMI code ABB & Fanuc Robot programming and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read electrical hydraulic and mechanical prints.
