Registered Nurse Inpatient Mental Health Services
Pay/Union:ONA (ONA Central Rates of Pay $39.07$56.00
Location:Kingston Ontario

The Adult Mental Health Program at Kingston Health Sciences Centres KGH site is for adults admitted to the serviceto either our Intensive Observation Unit or the Main adult unit depending on assessment. All Children under the age of 18 are admitted to the Child and Adolescent unit.
As a registered Nurse with our Inpatient Mental Health team you are supported in the early stages of therecoverybasedcare to our patients with a diverse and collaborative interprofessional team of care providers including Social Workers Psychiatrists Psychologists Patient Care Assistants and many more.
The RN is responsible for ensuring that practice and conduct meets legislative requirements and the standards of the profession as designed by the College of Nurses of Ontario. RNs practice will also comply with Kingston Health Sciences Centres (KHSC) policies and procedures.
Within this role the Registered Nurse is accountable for contributing to the delivery of the KHSC strategy. As an employee one must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for actively promoting and supporting patient and family centered engagement and care in all we do.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Eligible for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
