L3Harris DoD SkillBridge is connecting transitioning service members to career training opportunities within our organization. We will provide service members with valuable civilian work experience through industry specific training certifications and on the job experience during their DoD SkillBridge internship to help them ready themselves for their next mission.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR DOD SKILLBRIDGE JOB OPPORTUNITES YOU MUST BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE U.S. MILITARY WITH 180 DAYS OF SERVICE OR FEWER REMAINING PRIOR TO YOUR DATE OF SEPARATION AND HAVE AT LEAST 180 CONTINUOUS DAYS OF ACTIVE SERVICE.

Job Description:

This person will contribute to the companys success by performing test and debug operations on a variety of LRU (Line Replaceable Units) circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and components. This role will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is responsible for successfully testing and debugging L3Harris products for delivery or repair.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform electronic testing both manual and automated in a production environment
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and fault isolation in a production environment
  • Assist Test Engineering on trends root causes and corrective actions
  • Operates related test equipment (signal generators spectrum analyzers etc.
  • Participate in process improvement activities in both test and manufacturing
  • Adherence to L3Harris policies and procedures including but not limited to calibration of equipment ESD (electrostatic discharge) FOD (foreign object debris/damage) and general housekeeping.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • US Citizen

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Fully proficient knowledge of RF and digitals signals
  • Fully proficient of basic Analog Digital and RF circuitry
  • Comfortable using PC based applications
  • Fully proficient using test equipment (RF signal generators spectrum analyzers power meters voltage meters and oscilloscopes)
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance if needed.
  • Previous electronics manufacturing test and debug education and experience
