Work Location: Atlanta GA 100 remote will only consider applicants from the following states:

Description

Were seeking an Instructional Designer to work with subject matter experts to design develop and deploy elearning courseware content for selfpaced learning modules delivered electronically.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans organizes and develops training curricula materials and programs to meet specific training needs.

  • Analyzes learning needs and partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.

  • Plans and coordinates skill assessments and training. Works with management to ensure course materials are current and relevant to training needs.

  • May facilitate specific onboarding and training activities.

  • Tracks and analyzes training programs by examining learners satisfaction levels proficiency testing and job performance.

  • Designs computerbased training as well as materials for instructor led courses.

  • Consults and partners with appropriate subject matter experts to obtain content for online and instructor led courses.

  • Works with the business content experts to convert local content into training material to include printed/online rolebased training manuals job aids policies and procedures workflows and supporting presentations for instructor led training.

  • Maintains a centralized repository of training material and an online library of training material by managing updates/changes from content experts to ensure all material available is up to date.

  • Ensures appropriate training materials are accessible to staff.

  • Develops customized training programs for employees as necessary.

  • Enters data into the Emory learning management system and tracks and monitors training participation and assessments via reporting.

  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Learning Assessment and Validation:

  • Creation of summative and formative knowledgechecks and postclass evaluations.

Adult Learning Principles:

  • Developing content in accordance with Instructional System Design best practices Androgogy Heutagogy Media design principles.

ELearning Development:

  • Endtoend technical writing digital creation and evaluation of netnew content including outline scripting and storyboarding interactivity voiceover etc.

Design Tools experience:

  • Instructional Design: Captivate Snagit Canva Vyond uPerform Brainier (LMS)
  • Graphics and Design: Vyond Canva SharePoint Figma
  • Other Tech Stack: ServiceNow OnePlan Microsoft365 Suite


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in related field preferred; three years experience in elearning and blended learning development.
  • Seasoned experience with learning management systems is required.
  • Healthcare experience a plus.
