Job Description
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for a FullStack Software Engineer to work with a highly collaborative team to develop our publicfacing website and web applications. As a developer you will play an integral role in the specification design build test and support of our website and web applications for SEL. We work on a variety of projects to support our customers as well as Sales and Marketing at SEL.
As a Software Engineer Full Stack a typical day might include the following:
Participating in the design implementation and test of firmware/software systems
Participating in the development of designs and test documentation
Understanding hardware and software interactions and collaborating with systems administrators
This job might be for you if:
You have a B.S. in Software Engineering Computer Science or equivalent
You have knowledge and experience in web supporting technologies and web development (JavaScript HTML CSS HTTP/HTTPS)
You have knowledge of C# and .NET (or similar technologies)
You have knowledge and experience with relational databases
Preferred Qualifications:
Full stack experience with some of the following technologies: ASP Web API React TypeScript
Experience with revision control systems (Git)
Experience with automated unit testing (xUnit Jest)
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure AWS)
Experience with databases (SQL Server NoSQL)
Experience with containerized applications
Experience with agile development principles and processes
Experience with user experience (UX) design

Pay Range Data
Associate Software Engineer $78000 $95000. Software Engineer $88000 $108100. Our pay ranges are determined by job responsibility and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and jobrelated factors such as candidate experience training knowledge and skills.
