PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management
- Assures quality customer service to all customers.
- Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy.
- Assist with coordination of workflow and training of warehouse functions as required
- Receive inspect store/quarantine distribute document and dispose of reagents/supplies in accordance with regulated procedures and manufacturer recommended storage conditions.
- Identify reagent/supply orders and receipt discrepancies; initiate discrepancy documentation in accordance with regulated procedures. Report discrepancies to appropriate staff.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels to support production. May order/purchase reagent materials and office supplies.
- Maintains segregation of supply/reagent inventory lots.
- Rotate inventory to ensure firstin/firstout (FIFO) usage before expiration. Return to vendor reagents/supplies as directed by management.
- Is responsible for the loading and unloading of supplies and products and the use of the powered industrial truck as applicable. Schedules and/or performs maintenance as needed.
- Performs maintenance of machinery and equipment used in the warehouse and delivery.
- Enters and tracks reagent/supply inventory information using appropriate computer systems.
- Serves as records vendor interface.
- Coordinates the movement of shipping boxes
- Performs all other duties at the discretion of management as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School or equivalent
- Experience: 0 years of experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in related field
- Three years warehouse/supply chain experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member.
- Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Able to organize prioritize and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Warehouse and lab environment
- No travel required
- 5 hours per shift: Standing
- 3 5 hours per shift: Sitting lift/carry/move/ to 40 pounds reaching waist to shoulder reaching knee to waist reaching floor to knee handling finger dexterity driving
- Up to 3 hours per shift: Walking climb bend squat reaching above shoulders push/pull up to 40 pounds max grasp pinch
