Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel South Carolina is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Electrical Power Engineer. The primary duties will include the design analysis and reliability of the plant electrical systems. The engineer will also be expected to define scopes estimate budgets communicate with stakeholders manage installations document and close out assigned projects. The engineer will also develop and improve the electrical safe work practices and procedures as well as provide technical training to the team.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. SVC Maintenance Experience
  2. Project Management certification
