Job Description
The Palmer School District is looking to add a general middle school science teacher 58 812 certified) to our team who believes in a children first philosophy. We are committed to providing students with a positive learning environment focused on meeting the needs of all learners. The successful teammate will work as part of a Science Department team. We believe the ideal candidate will be an active learner in our school and strive to build a dynamic learning experiences for all our students. Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Experience and practice working with students at the middle/high school level including coaching teachers. Knowledge of inquirybased science approach Ability to work as a positive role model for students and be an active participant in a team approach to learning. Works well with community members parents and students. Excellent written verbal and mathematical abilities.All positions are subject to qualifications duties and rates of compensation presently in force and subject to appropriate funding.
