The Role:
As a Software Development Engineer 2 you will be part of a crossdisciplinary team responsible for the user experience of AMDs graphics products. To this end you will be charged with researching cuttingedge technologies and collaborating with multiple software functional teams to deliver the best possible user experience to our endusers.

Responsibilities:
Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
- Design develop and maintain core technologies for innovative applications on AMD platforms.
- Promptly triage and resolve quality and performance issues raised by customers and QA.
- Work closely with product managers and teams from other functional areas to gather and document software requirements.
- Actively participate in design reviews and code reviews.
- Collaboration with international teams of software specialists.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Working experience with C.
- 12 years developing desktop applications in the Windows environment
- Experience with OOP design and development.
- Strong analysis and problemsolving skills.
- Good written and spoken communication skills to interface with multifunctional teams.
- Proactive conscientious and a team player.
Nicetohave Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience with Qt and QML
- Understanding of Windows internals
- Prior experience with multimedia audio/video processing and streaming
- Familiarity with network programming and communication protocols
- Web development experience
- Mobile application development experience
- Knowledge of DirectX and OpenGL
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelor or masters in Computer or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
