As a Family Support Coach for groups you will recruit participants and conduct groups that promote protective factors and family strengthening strategies in Tarrant County and in surrounding rural counties. In this role you will be trained in evidencebased groups such as Parent Cafes WoW Talk youth cafes Nurturing Families and other developmental skillbased groups such as Music in Motion and Healthy Eating and Reading. The staff person in this role will need to be an effective communicator have a friendly and welcoming disposition exhibit flexibility and be an exceptional team player. You will need to demonstrate traumainformed culturally and linguistically competent relationshipbuilding to be successful in this role. If you are ready to impact families in the community with family strengthening strategies then this role might be a good fit for you.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Health and Human Services field of Applied Behavior Analysis Child Development Counseling Early Childhood Education Early Childhood Intervention Education Psychology Gerontology Human Growth and Development Medicine Nursing Physician Assistant Psychology Registered Nurse Rehabilitation & Rehab Studies Social Work Sociology OR Special Education. In lieu of degree listed above completion of Bachelors Degree in another area with college level coursework equivalent to requirements for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential. (QMHP certification earned on the job. Spanishspeaking a plus.
Carry and lifting requirements 1525 pounds.
