FirstLine Manufacturing Manager 2nd Shift)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a FirstLine Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support the Emergent Operations team in Auburn Washington. This position is for 2nd shift but may occasionally require supporting other shifts based on the needs of the operation (for example occasional coverage for colleagues who are out of office or attendance for allmanager meetings).

FOD (Foreign Object Debris) free product and clean as you go is also a component of our production system and this also requires a steadfast commitment to our standards our people and our customer. A successful candidate will connect directly with our values and take action to further those values with how they act.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.

  • Develops and implements business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

  • Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers peers partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.

  • Leads develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience in Aerospace Fabrication or manufacturing environment.

  • 3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.

  • 1 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work second shift.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1 years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety Quality Delivery Cost and Manufacturing data.

  • 1 years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS).

  • Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles.

Shift:

This role is primarily second shift; however there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
