Job Description
Hawaiian Building Maintenance has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We currently perform Janitorial Building Services Mechanical Engineering HVAC and Maintenance Services for numerous commercial retail and residential properties on Oahu Kauai Maui and Big Island. We are a major facility service company with excellent benefits including 401k plan with employer match vacation and competitive wages.
We are looking for a fulltime Maintenance Floaterposition to repair and maintain buildings on Oahu Hawaii. Candidates must have a valid drivers license previous handson maintenance experience light plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry and painting experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting plumbing electrical mechanical and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and grounds maintenance)
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers vendors customers etc.
- Able to lift push pull a minimum of 30lbs up to 50lbs and bend.
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
- Create and maintain work orders
- Create and maintain purchase orders
- Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by property management.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- Must have a vehicle
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- General Maintenance experience
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and improve
Work Location: In person
Schedule: Variable Monday to Friday 7am3:30pm(40 hours a week)
Compensation: $25/per hour
