The Department
Alfred Healths Dietetics and Nutrition Department provides an integrated service at The Alfred Sandringham and Caulfield Hospitals. The department is comprised of approximately 46 EFT and 65 people. It is organised into eight clinical streams and provides a 7day service.Using evidencebased patientcentred care it provides clinical expertise to Alfred Healths patients during their healthcare journey including the prevention and treatment of malnutrition and the optimisation of nutritional wellbeing and recovery through tailored specialised nutrition therapy.
POSITION:
Alfred Healths Dietetics and Nutrition Department is seeking a skilled and experienced Grade 2 dietitian to join their busy clinical department.The Grade 2 Dietitian will be responsible for theongoingprovision of nutrition and dietetic services to their allocated units.The role will work closely with Senior Dietitians to promote and develop nutrition services through teamwork collaboration innovation and communication. Student education supervision of Grade 1 Dietitians and Nutrition Assistants and active participation in quality and/or research activities are integral to this role.
