- Strong focus on health safety environment & quality is a must. Plan and implement competence development systems and processes within the service operations in line with Organization EHS policies procedures and objectives at all times.
- Ensure product start up are being performed as per product manual by providing relevant information to the person conducting such job.
- Ensure product performance are meeting optimum performance level and get documented by the person involved in delivery of such performance commitment.
- Identify and train people who are engaged on those products.
- Handle warranty decision in sync with product company field service and customer to have the right decision.
- Conduct trial demo of those products whenever needed.
- Prepare appropriate spares recommendation based on scenarios like fleet size usage mine / site condition criticality etc.
- Monitor product performance parts consumption etc deriving data from system or available from service persons / customers / dealers. Owner of product performance and cost efficiency.
- RCA scrutiny and improvement of product / service capability
- Feedback and coordination with product company for new changes improvement needed customization service engineering etc
Relationships and Authority
Reports to: AGM Technical Serviceist
Management responsibility for: End to end management of product performance
Liaises with: Service Operations / Technical / Product Manager(s) Business Line Manager Product companies other business lines functions and customers
External contacts: Customer OPM vendors
Desirable background & experience
- Strong Technical Background in Mining and/ or Equipment Industry
- Technical and competence development management skills would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to build internal and external relationships.
- Strong facilitation & presentation skills (both verbal and written)
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and Hindi
- About 10 to 12 years professional experience with 3 years as product / service specialist.
- Any engineering background (diploma and above in engineering)
- Experience of working in technical product organization in training functions will be an added advantage
