Job Description

Tumbling Operator
General Function: Proficiently operate and maintain the tumbling equipment.

Duties:
1. Transfer and load materials to/from tumblers.
2. Process and inspect products in conformance with both verbal and written instruction.
3. Perform machine specific cleaning procedures.
4. Assist maintenance department in performing machine specific preventive maintenance.
5. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be allinclusive and may be expanded to
include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.

Working Conditions: Works inside plant where there is a great deal of noise. The work may
be dusty dirty and greasy. May handle sharp edged metal and be exposed to chemicals used in
oil.

Physical Effort: Works on a hard surface; stands stoops bends and lifts heavy objects
weighing 3550 pounds.

Safety Equipment: Wears safety shoes glasses gloves and ear plugs where required.

Qualification Requirements: High School diploma or GED.
Additional Preferred Qualifications: One 1 year or more experience in manufacturing
environment.
