INSIDE SALES & SERVICE in the TRANSPORTATION / TRUCKING INDUSTRY 3PL)
Lebron and MJ. Tim Cook and Bill Gates. Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos. Who exactly is the best may be up for debate with these successful individuals but when it comes to logistics theres only one GOAT and thats RTS. We may not have any trophies technically but we do hold the title of one of Cincinnatis Top 5 Logistics Companies and weve been named one of Cincinnatis Top Workplaces for three years. But what exactly is the name of the game in logistics Its a fastpaced industry one that requires a highlymotivated team to do the hard work of arranging transportation for lots of shipments every day so that shelves around the country can stay stocked with essential goods (like say toilet paper). We are hiring driven Sales Account Executives for our Georgetown Ohio 45121 office. We have a small team of great people we work hard to take care of (just like we try to take care of our customers and the carriers we work with). If thats a purpose you can get behind come #JointheTeam!

WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Initiate develop and grow relationships with shippers and carriers in the 3PL world (extroverts were looking at you)
- Be responsible for weekly results focused on business development objectives account activity and outbound calls
- When the book of business shows necessary support you will lead and delegate operational functions to a Logistics Coordinator who will be assigned to help exclusively with your load board
- Strategize and communicate account goals and objectives to maximize account growth (and maximize the growth of your wallet!
- Negotiate rates and contracts with customers carriers and other various parties
- Ensure customer and carrier satisfaction 24/7/365
WHAT SKILLS DO WE LOOK FOR
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to problemsolve and find a solution in a timely manner
- The motivation and determination to succeed in a selfsufficient role where you are trusted to get the work done without being micromanaged
- Sales and/or 3PL experience is preferred but some of our most successful Account Executives have come from restaurant landscaping or academic backgrounds among others
- Eagerness to grow and develop personally professionally and financially
HOW MUCH MONEY CAN YOU MAKE
- Our commissioned sales reps earned $230K ON AVERAGE last year no joke and no getrichquick schemes (maybe you could be flying to space la Branson/Bezos in the coming decade).
- This job is hard. There is no sugarcoating it. This job can feel overwhelming but the highly successful people at RTS do it because they truly believe in what they are selling and they earn more money than they ever have in their life.
