The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy invites applications for a 12month Nontenure track position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor. Rank will be commensurate with the candidates qualifications and experience. The position is based in Oxford Mississippi. Academic responsibilities will include teaching in the integrated and modularized PharmD curriculum Pharmacy Practice Applications Laboratory experiences training of pharmacy students on practice experiences (IPPE and APPE) and participation in residency education. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining an active ambulatory care practice site affiliated with North Mississippi Health System. In scholarship the candidate will be expected to publish scholarly works in peerreviewed journals and teach and mentor students and residents in research experiences. In service or citizenship the candidate will be required to serve the department the school and University according to needs and interests. Participation and leadership in professional and scientific organizations is also encouraged.
