The welcoming and social team at Medivet Wokingham 24hour offer a range of experience and skill within the practice and area including working alongside certificate holders and experienced ECC colleagues. The practice provides out of hour care hospitalisation and case work up for our surrounding branches as well as first opinion provision within the week.
Seeking a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join the team on a 7 nights on 14 nights off working pattern. Due to the nature of night work there is a level of autonomy that comes with the role so the ideal candidate will be trusted to work independently but must also be a team player with excellent client & customer care skills and a commitment to a high standard of inpatient care.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:
Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
Support with surgeries and procedures completing all pre and post procedure activity.
Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
Deliver patient monitoring and care.
Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
Dispense and check medication.
Deliver professional excellence complying with all regulatory practice and operational standards.
Hold briefings to engage and coordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience
RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
Experience of supporting Nurse consults with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
