The Business Operations Associate (OA) plays a vital role in driving the success of our client engagements by providing critical business process support to our clientserving teams to help them deliver outstanding results to our clients.
The primary focus of the OA is to collaborate with our senior professionals and support them and their engagements on all matters related to engagement administration. As an OA you will become an expert in the engagement lifecycle within a leading clientfocused professional services firm. Youll advise and support our client serving teams to effectively manage their external client projects (engagements) from an engagement lifecycle perspective. You will provide proactive impactful outreach to client serving teams to ensure a compliance and engagement lifecycle perspective on each engagement and ondemand operational support throughout the engagement life cycle.
Essential Functions of the Job:
The OA will provide support to our Partners and Senior Managers in Business Development and Engagement Administration and will collaborate with engagement teams to play a vital role in success by ensuring process quality standards are followed.
- Provide support with engagementlevel administration including client acceptance Mercury (ERP) & CRM maintenance conflict checks engagement economics billing & invoicing and other engagementrelated activities
- Develop and facilitate negotiation of legal documentation on key engagementrelated documents (e.g. engagement agreement statement of work nondisclosure agreement nonreliance letter etc.
- Ensure agreements engagement proposals and other engagementrelated documents are executed and completed with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
- Provide proposal and credential support through research and knowledge management
- Ensure all SaT Quality excellence standards and compliance requirements are adhered to
- Facilitate pipeline management and reporting at both a Partner and sector level
- Work with your Ops colleagues and practice partners on strategic efforts such as new automations and improvements to enhance and streamline our engagement administration processes
- Liaise and collaborate with the offshore Engagement Management Services team
- Provide support with staffing and resource allocation and other related staffing activities
- Oversee a book of business to help executives with engagement lifeycle management including compliance (financial and quality) pricing financial analysis and contracting
- Assist in training new members of team (both onshore and offshore)
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the engagement lifecycle process working with partners account teams QRM and engagement teams as needed. Advise on best approaches for resolving issues in the process
- Draft and review contracts (SOWs NRLs Joinders)
- Facilitate in a proactive manner many other aspects of the lifecycle process
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and leveraging leading practices
- Apply technical and business skills required to execute standardized processes and procedures but also think out of the box to help continually improve business process.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage time multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Supervision Responsibilities:
- Work independently on a daytoday basis
- Receive regular but not daytoday supervision and coaching from a more senior member of the team
- Provides informal oversight of EMS team members aligned with the same PPMDs
Other Requirements:
- We expect OAs to be in the office 23 days a week
Job Requirements/Education:
- Bachelors degreewith a preference towards a business concentration
Experience:
- One to five years of work experience experience working with senior professionals preferred
- Experience with standard business tools such as MS Office Excel PowerPoint SharePoint and CRM systems
- Ideal: Experience with complex business processes

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $58000 to $104500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and geography.
