Commercial Insurance Assistant Professional Liability

Job Summary

We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Commercial Insurance Assistant specializing in Professional Liability to join our team. The Commercial Insurance Assistant will provide essential support to the Professional Liability Team Lead assisting with administrative tasks client inquiries and document management.

Responsibilities

Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining client files preparing policy documents and processing endorsements.

Assist with underwriting tasks data entry analyzing risk information and supporting the underwriting team.

Assist in the preparation of insurance renewals ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.

Conduct sidebyside comparisons of policies to evaluate coverage options and provide clients with clear comprehensive recommendations.

Handle billing processes including invoicing and payment tracking to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

Communicate with clients and insurance carriers to address inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive team environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

Prior experience working in a professional liability or commercial insurance setting is preferred.

At least 1 year of P&C experience required.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to interact with clients and colleagues.

Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office suite and experience using insurance software systems.

An active P&C (Property and Casualty) License is required.

Compensation Package

Compensation: Between $65k$75k (based on experience).
