Position Summary
This position serves as the program coordinator for the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program within the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. As such the position has a wide variety of administrative financial and instructional support responsibilities including but not limited to: tracking invoicing and reconciling client accounts for services rendered at the Community Clinic helping coordinate the graduate admissions process and interview day for the Clinical program; maintaining records to assist with licensure including keeping uptodate student files of milestones and courses completed; managing purchasing and reimbursements for the Community Clinic and the Clinical programs students staff and faculty; helping coordinate clinical psychology graduate student and practicum evaluations each semester; providing instructional support for graduate and undergraduate level courses taught by Clinical faculty and graduate students. This position is also responsible for office management of the Community Clinics including monitoring of facilities and equipment and providing in person and virtual guest services for visitors to the Clinic. The person in this position will be integrally involved in aspects related to accreditation including compiling and organizing material for the American Psychological Association APA annual report and preparations (e.g. documents scheduling) needed for the Clinical Programs reaccreditations APA and Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System PCSAS including site visits. This position reports directly to the Clinical Program Manager and works closely with the Faculty Directors of the Clinical Program and the Community Clinic.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
The Clinical Program Coordinator is essential to the success of the clinical training program including fostering a welcoming environment and academic community. A successful applicant must have the ability to interact positively with various groups including faculty and staff graduate and undergraduate students and clients who may call seeking information about our community clinics. The clinical program coordinator is the face of the program; therefore excellent written and verbal communication skills a high level of professionalism and confidentiality are critical. The successful applicant will have exceptional information processing decisionmaking and problemsolving skills as well as strong attention to detail excellent time management and be able to implement effective organizational systems. The ability to multitask work independently and meet deadlines including compiling organizing and summarizing data and reviewing and preparing documents accurately and in a timely manner are essential to success in this position. Microsoft Office Suite expertise particularly Outlook Word and Excel is required as is expertise with Google services (e.g. Google docs).
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
The following expertise is preferred but not required and can be trained as part of the onboarding process: Knowledge of university systems (e.g. PeopleSoft Titanium TouchNet) policies and procedures. Experience working in a clinical setting. Experience with accounting Experience coordinating events Web content management
